Here is a quick project I did for a one-week workshop I gave at a school.
The goal was to teach students how to analyze an art direction and recreate an existing weapon. I was asked to work with the Overwatch art style, so the course focused on stylized art with hard surface baking.
It was a great challenge for me, as I hadn’t worked on stylized assets since my own school days. I decided to push the project a bit further to get as close as possible to the original look. It could be improved, but I’m pretty happy with the result.
